In 2023, I was approached by Simon & Schuster Publishing to design the cover and create illustrations for the opening chapter pages of "Self-Care for Latinas" by Raquel Reichard. The cover image illustrates a lush scene featuring various types of vegetation indigenous to Latin America and the Caribbean, including plants, herbs, and fruits. It incorporates hands in different skin tones, symbolizing unity and diversity within the Latina community, as well as butterflies to represent transformation and beauty.
